I’ve been closely watching housing activity across Baltimore and our surrounding counties, and here’s the latest: new home listings are up 0.4%, reaching their highest point since April. The total number of homes for sale also climbed by 0.5%, the most since May. At the same time, though, pending home sales slipped 1.1% to a six-month low—high prices and mortgage rates around 6.65% are clearly giving many buyers pause.
